Nearly a century old, Kerala Kalamandalam flourishes across its two campuses. Together, Vallathol Nagar and Nila campuses form the fertile ground where Kerala's artistic heritage continues to thrive.
Spread across thirty-one acres along the Thrissur–Shoranur highway, the Vallathol Nagar Campus is where Kerala Kalamandalam evolved into what it is today, Kerala’s first and foremost university dedicated to art and culture. Here, students join as early as the eighth grade and continue through undergraduate studies.
Two kilometres from Vallathol Nagar, along the gentle bend of the river, lies the Nila Campus. It is here where it all started, the land Vallathol chose when Kerala Kalamandalam was still a Trust in its early stages.
